Dr. Hossein Ansari (USA)
Hossein Ansari, MD earned his medical degree from Iran, after which he completed his Neurology residency training at West Virginia University where he also served as Chief Resident.
He did his Fellowship in Headache and Facial Pain at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and upon completion of fellowship training, acquired Board Certification in Headache Medicine by United Council of Neurological Subspecialties.
In June, 2015, Dr. Ansari joined University of California in San Diego (UCSD) in order to spearhead the development of the University’s Headache Center. He is currently associate professor at department of neuroscience and serves as a director of the headache and facial pain clinic at UCSD.
Prior to joining the UCSD, Dr. Ansari established a multidisciplinary headache center in Akron, Ohio, where he served as its Director, providing care to thousands of patients with headache and facial pain. In addition to running the headache center, he was an Assistant Professor at Northeast Ohio Medical University and Attending Neurologist at Summa Health System hospitals in Summit County, Ohio.
Ansari is actively involved in multiple domestic and international professional societies and serves as an advisory council member for the International Headache Society. He has also fellow of both American academy of Neurology (FAAN) and American headache society (FAHS).
He had multiple presentations at annual national and international conferences.
Ansari has authored book chapters and Publications in Headache diagnosis and management. His also actively involved with the American Academy of Neurology in the neuro self-assessment exam (NeuroSAE) as the team of question authors.
Prof. Messoud Ashina, (Denmark)
Messoud Ashina, the president of the International Headache Society, is Professor of Neurology in the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He is also Director of the Human Migraine Research Unit at the Danish Headache Center and Department of Neurology, Rigshospitalet, Denmark.
He received his medical degree from Azerbaijan Medical University and completed his residency in neurology at the University of Copenhagen, where he was awarded his PhD and DMSc.
Professor Ashina has been actively involved in headache research since 1995. His research interests include experimental migraine models and functional neuroimaging. He has authored over 300 papers, abstracts and book chapters on the topic of headache, including migraine.
Prof Sait Ashina (USA)
Dr. Sait Ashina is an Attending physician and Neurologist at the Department of Neurology at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. He is a Headache Specialist and a Director of the Headache Program at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. Dr. Ashina earned his medical degree at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark He received training in Headache Medicine at the Montefiore Headache Center in Bronx, NY and the Danish Headache Center, Copenhagen, Denmark. He is a member of education committee of International Headache Society and is Fellow of American Headache Society. He is also an Associate Editor of Neurology Reviews, and a Visiting Editor of the Journal of Headache and Pain. He has won several awards for his work, including the Clinical Headache Fellowship Award from the American Headache Society. He is a recipient of prestigious 2012 Enrico Greppi Award endorsed by the European Headache Federation and the Italian Society for the Study of Headaches. Dr. Ashina has also been named to the Super Doctors 2013 and 2014 New York Rising Stars list.

Prof. Mansoureh Togha, Tehran, Iran
Mansoureh Togha M.D. was born in Shiraz in 1961. Prof. Togha graduated from Shiraz Medical University, Shiraz, Iran in 1986. Then she completed her neurology residency at Shariati Hospital, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. She is now a Clinical Professor of Neurology at The Tehran University of Medical Sciences, where she teaches medical students and neurology residents. She is also the one of the Executive Committee member of Iranian Neurological Association (INA) and Head of Iranian Headache Association as a subdivision of INA. She has co-authored more than 100 articles and posters. She has had more than 100 lectures in different national congress and seminars. She has been received Avicenna, Hakim Jorjani award as one of the best university teachers in the field of education. She is the editor of headache section of Iranian Journal of Neurology. She has co-authored 5 books on different neurological topics.
